Position 1:
Lead Art Instructor/Studio Director
Are you a passionate, energetic, and creative instructor who loves working with kids and teens? Artventure, a top Orange County art studio, has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Art Instructor/Studio Director to join our team. As the Lead Art Instructor/Studio Director, you will instruct students in various drawing and painting techniques, with a focus on leading our teen program. In this role, you will also serve as the Studio Director running day-to-day studio sales, operations, and administration. The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented, and an experienced artist and enthusiastic teacher who loves working with children and can adapt to each individual’s needs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead instruction for Teen art program and assist in youth classes as needed
- Adhere to an established teaching curriculum while providing individual attention and feedback to each student
- Communicate regularly with parents and families to maintain positive relationships
- Maintain a well-organized, clean studio environment where students are safe and supported in their creativity
- Stock and manage art supply inventory and oversee art store
- Handling day-to-day operations of the studio including student enrollment, student account management, phone/text/email communication, and general administrative functions
- Responsible for updating weekly KPIs associated with the post i.e.: student attendance, enrollment, and paid status
- Minimum 20 hours per week instructional time
- Minimum 10 hours per week administrative
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Art or related field
- Minimum two years of demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for teaching young artists
- Minimum of 2 years in customer service/ customer engagement
- Must have a portfolio demonstrating excellent realistic drawing skills and mastery over form and color in two-dimensional mediums. Oil painting experience required
- Excellent classroom management skills that motivate and inspire
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with parents and students
- Ability to captivate students with a passionate and joyful demeanor
- Can-do and flexible attitude, able to adapt to a changing environment and needs of the class and studio
- Problem solver who remains positive in the face of challenges
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to multitask without missing a beat

Position 2:
Art Instructor for The Littlest Artists (ages 4-6)-
Launching a New Program!
Are you a caring, creative, and energetic person who loves working with young children? Join Artventure, a leading Orange County Art Studio, as we embark on an exciting new journey! We’re seeking a dynamic Art Instructor to inspire creativity in our youngest students, aged 4-6. This position marks the launch of an innovative program designed to nurture a love for creativity and the building blocks of art. As the Instructor for our Littlest Artists, you’ll guide engaging sessions, leading children through arts and crafts lessons to help them express themselves and unleash their creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead instruction for Preschool-K art program (Ages 4-6)
- Develop lesson plan that introduces students to traditional art forms, as well as craft projects
- Manage art classroom and materials, including prep, clean up and inventory
- Communicate regularly with parents and families to maintain positive relationships
- Maintain a well organized, clean studio environment where students are safe and supported in their creativity
- Perform student enrollment and management, including sign ups and scheduling, and phone/text/email communication
- Part time commitment/ perfect for college students or as a second job

- Associates Degree or minimum 12 units in art/ education/ early child development
- Minimum two years of demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for teaching preschool and kindergarten aged children
